“Ernest Hemingway Alive!” with actor Richard Clark.  Relive with Hemingway those days from World War I through the inauguration of JFK.  The life force of the master craftsman considered by his peers as “the greatest writer since Shakespeare.”  Actor Richard Clark has spent over 30 years in New England regional theater and NY theater.  He has studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Art, The Actors Connection and the Actor’s Loft.*

Library Book Group Meeting.  Please join the library staff in a discussion of Growing Up by Russell Baker Russell Baker is the 1979 Pulitzer Prize winner for Distinguished Commentary and a columnist for The New York Times. This book traces his youth in the mountains of rural Virginia.  "He draws from a time and a world very much in the American grain: memories of listening to grown-ups rocking on the porch and sonorously reciting cliches or of Depression evenings in Baltimore spent around the kitchen table with endless talk and cups of coffee." -- New York Times

Readers may bring their own copy or place a hold on a library item.  Refreshments will be served.
