Exhibits – 2004
The Portsmouth Historical Society and the Portsmouth High School Music Department, under the direction of Meryl Moore, presented a Choral Tribute to Julia Ward Howe on May 27, 2004. It was the opening to the 2004 season exhibit “Julia Ward Howe: The Causes Behind The Woman.” The event was supported by contributions from Mello’s Garden Center, Carlone’s Florist and The People’s Credit Union.
