Museum passes or discount coupons are available for loan at the Library!

Book Clubs

Our Third Tuesday Book Club will meet January 15 at 6:30 PM and January 16 at 2:30 PM to discuss The All-girl Filling Station's Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg. Pick the time that's best for you!

 Our Teen Fiction Book Club will meet January 29th at 6:30 to discuss What I Leave Behind by Alison McGhee.   All ages are welcomed.

About Us

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of Portsmouth Free Public Library. It consists of members who are elected from the Portsmouth Free Public Library Association.

Membership is open to all residents of the Town of Portsmouth who are eighteen years of age and pay annual dues. The Portsmouth Town Council may appoint two Trustees. The Trustees serve without remuneration of any kind. Non Residents may join the Association but do not have voting rights.
