Teen Bullet Journaling

Teens!  Creative?  Disorganized?  In need of help?  Come learn a little about bullet journals!  They can be used to organize your appointments, your hobbies, your wishlists, your writing/drawing, your plans, or all of it - it's your choice!  Come learn the basics about how to set up a bullet journal and some of the possibilities.  Get some supplies and a lot of ideas and start your journal.

We will meet outside the library.  In case of rain, you can stop by and pick up a kit with all the information to do your journal on your own.

Teen Outdoor Tie-Dye Event - Weather Permitting

TEENS! We are going to try to end our Summer Challenge with an outdoor, socially distanced, mask-wearing, TIE-DYE EVENT.

This is, of course, dependent on the weather. If there is inclement weather, this event will be canceled.

As a participant, you MUST register ahead of time as we have only 8 spots available. As this is our only teen event for the summer with such limited spots, you will NOT be able to sign up friends for this event. You can only register one person at a time.

Outdoor Book Club for Kids

We will be discussing this year's Kids Read Across RI selection: Changeling by William Ritter.  We have 11 free copies of the book to give away.  Stop by the Children's Room to get your copy.

We will meet under the big tree on the grass.  Bring your own towel or blanket, your mask, and your opinions!  Weather permitting.

Teen Fiction Book Club

Join us as we discuss American Panda by Gloria Chao.  All ages welcomed as we discuss this book about Mei Lu, a teen whose parents have plans for her future, while she has very different ideas of what she wants to do. We will meet outside, weather permitting.  Bring a lawn chair and a snack.  Books will be available for pick up at the library.

Family Search Wikis with Colleen LeComte

In this Zoom class for beginners, we will go over how to use the Family Search Wiki to help you find resources for your genealogy questions. This class is geared toward beginner users that have not utilized the Wiki before. We will explore through the Wiki section, and some examples will be shown of what sort of resources are provided through the Wiki. An email is required at registration so you can be sent the zoom meeting link a day or two before the class.
