Portsmouth Trivia Map - Revolutionary RI History Hunt

FREE! Looking for a fun April vacation week activity for you and the kids?

Kickoff a fun 90 minute self-guided driving/walking tour of Portsmouth at the library this morning. FreshMaps and the Battle of Rhode Island Association have created a “Revolutionary RI History Hunt” series - a smartphone/ mobile app digital scavenger hunt map which brings you to six locations in Portsmouth to learn about local American Revolution history, right where it happened!

Container Gardening and Pollinators/Herbs

Nancy Crawford, a member of URI Master Gardeners for over 15 years, will present “Container Gardening” at the Portsmouth Free Public Library on June 30 at 6:30 pm.

Learn some basic techniques for creating attractive containers for display on your porch, patio or deck and maintaining the containers throughout the summer. Some suggestions for attracting beneficial insects will be part of the discussion.

Portsmouth 250

Portsmouth is looking for volunteers to form a Commission to celebrate our Nation's 250th birthday.

There will be an informational meeting held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Mello room at
the Portsmouth Free Public Library located at 2658 East Main Road, Portsmouth. If you have any questions
