Rhode Island is home to nearly 40 species of reptiles and amphibians, also known as herps! You will be introduced to these scaly, slimy, and secretive creatures, the conservation work being done to protect them, and how everyone can be a "Herp Hero."

This program is open to upcoming and current Pre-Kindergarteners to 5th graders.

Story Time for babies aged 0-18 months! This storytime is a drop-in event; no registration is required.

Pokemon Club at the Portsmouth Library! Have cards at home but not sure how to play? Love playing and want to do it more? Head to library to learn and play with friends!

This program is for grades K through 5! Parents are required to stay to watch kids play and trading is only allowed with parents permission.

Join us for Afternoon Story Time with Portsmouth High School Student Daphne! This event is open to all children and families up to grade 5. No registration is required. It is an excellent opportunity to visit the library, listen to books, and support a student's senior project.
