If you turned in any event or book slips, join us for a fun night of wine and dessert to celebrate the end of summer reading! Our raffle prizes will be given away during the event, and we will have complimentary wine and dessert for all attendees! As part of our Adult Summer Reading Program, we invite you to join us for a YouTube paint party! We will supply all the materials and refreshments, you supply the creativity and fun! Create your own constellation on a small hoop that lights up! Space is very limited, so be sure to register online or call 683-9457 to secure your spot.
Portsmouth Garden Club and Portsmouth Free Public Library will be having the 1st annual plant sale. There will be many items for sale – all kinds of plants; books on gardening and landscaping; planters, pots, and other gardening items; tea cup arrangements.
Learn everything you need to know to safely and confidently use a sewing machine in this introductory class with Karen Katin from The Stitchery! All materials will be provided to make a simple project. No experience or machine necessary, use one of our 8 Brother sewing machines.
All ages - Come see the night sky! We will have telescopes and volunteers will be on hand to point out objects in the night sky. There will be activities in the library as well. Program will be canceled if it rains. Please register for this free program for all ages so we have enough supplies for all who attend.
