Traci Vaspol from The Stitchery will cover casting on, knit stitch and pearl stitch, plus plenty of hints and tips to keep you going. Please bring US size 10 or 6 mm wood or bamboo needles if you have them. Yarn will be provided.

Join Roberta Conti for a presentation on the art and craft of rug hooking. She credits her mother Wilhelmina Shaw who taught rug hooking at Swinburne School for over 25 years, for introducing her to this wonderful and creative hobby. Over the years, Roberta’s mother tried to get her interested in the hobby without success. Then as Roberta was cleaning out her mother’s basement in 1986, she found a little stool. The Childen's Book Sale will feature hundreds of kids and 'tweens books and DVDs in like new condition. The books are 3 for $1 and DVDs are 50 cents each. This mini book sale will be held outside weather permitting or in the Mello Program Room if raining.
