Teens Make and Take Kits: Oreo Taste Test

TEENS GRADES 6-12 ONLY

Think you can name that flavor? Grab our super secret goodie bags and see if you can name that flavor of Oreo*! A google form found here is available for you to submit your answers AND will allow us to tell you if you were correct! 

*While supplies last! 1 bag per teen ONLY.

**If you have a known allergy, please do not participate. Bags will have a variety of Oreo flavors in them. 

Submissions Open for Community Fiber Arts Show

SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED! THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT ARE PARTICIPATING.

Today is the opening day for submissions for our Community Fiber Arts Show coming up in February! Registration forms are available at the library (they cannot be submitted online - they must be submitted with your project in person). Submissions will be accepted during open library hours from Tuesday, January 2nd, through Friday, January 26th. A completed registration form MUST accompany each submission. 

Teen Take & Make Holiday Edition

Welcome to week 3 of our holiday ornament edition of our Teen Take and Makes!

This week's ornament will be real peppermint ornaments - perfect as a treat or gift for a friend or sibling! Kits will be in the Teen Area on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited, and only one per teen please! For teens in grades 6-12 only.

Teen Halloween 2-Sentence Creepy Story Competition BEGINS (Runs through 10-26)

Are you ready for a little un-friendly, spooky, creepy, Halloween competition? We invite Teens in grades 6-12 to submit their own horror story - the catch? It can only be two sentences long! The entries will be posted in the Teen department (anonymously) so all can enjoy the submissions, then a winner will be declared on October 27th at 4pm! The winner will receive the Halloween basket on display in the Teen Area. Please be original, and no copying of other stories found online!  Make it good: One entry per teen.

Teen Book Boxes are BACK!

After a brief hiatus to restock and regroup from Summer Reading .. our teen book boxes are BACK! These are only available to those in grades 6-12. You can fill out a form in our teen department with your reading preferences/dislikes, favorite types of candy, any allergies, etc., and we will curate a personalized book box just for YOU! 

Please give our librarian staff at least one week to curate the boxes - demand is high most of the time.
