Halloween Movie Night: Halloweentown

Happy Halloween from the Children's Room! We are pleased to announce that Friday, October 29, 2021, we will be hosting a movie night in the Program Room. Popcorn and small candy bags will be provided and we will be watching Halloweentown (View Parent's Guide here.) Masks are required for children 2-12 and unvaccinated children and adults 12 or older. Please feel free to wear Halloween cosutmes or Halloween themed PJ's!

Preschool Story Time

Story time for children ages 3-5.  Upstairs in the program room..  Particpants do not need masks but adult caregivers and siblings over the age of 2 years are required to wear masks.  Please call the Children's room at 683-9457 x4 for full details.

Virtual Visit to the Great Swamp Management Area

Crisp spring mornings teeming with the anticipation of sunrise contain a beautiful surprise to the observant eye. Learn all about these strange and amazing birds and the unique young forests they inhabit in Rhode Island with the RIDEM Division of Fish and Wildlife!

Family Yoga with Mary Cadmus

Join yoga teacher Mary Cadmus for a family-oriented yoga class at the library.  Mary was intially drawn to the athleticism and beauty that yoga's movements held.  She soon wanted to know more about the "why" she felt so good from yoga leading her to pursue her Yoga Teacher Certification.  She pulls from her broad vinyasa knowledge to create classes that feel good in the body and calm in the mind.  Her classes provide a calm, challenging environment that allows for play and creativity that is perfect f
